Maricopa County Farmer's Markets

Farmer's markets are good for you and they’re good for the local economy. They are often the primary means for small local framers to sell their produce and they provide the community with access to delicious locally grown food. Farmer's market produce is usually organic, or at least pesticide free. Many of our farmer's markets offer specialty foods such as cheese, fresh eggs, salsas, baked goods, and hand-made pastas and several feature local artists and musicians. I often bring a little extra cash so that I can sample some of the chef's creations such as Basque stew, breakfast burritos, and French pastries.
